Irina Zamora

Irina Zamora, Psy.D., is a bilingual licensed Clinical Psychologist at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. She specializes in providing mental health services to Latino children from birth to age five and their families. Her research interests include parent-child interaction, culturally appropriate interventions, evidence based therapies, autism spectrum disorders, and interdisciplinary team work.


The Impact of Complex Trauma on Mental Health in Early Childhood

The objectives of this workshop are to provide an introduction to early childhood mental health and provide training on the impact of complex trauma in families. The presenters will discuss behaviors displayed by young children which are associated with exposure to family violence. Treatments and interventions for young children exposed to family violence will be briefly discussed.
