EMDR* for Trauma Stabilization and Self-Esteem

EMDR techniques that reduce acute stress and PTSD in children, adults and families will be taught. Participants will experience these directly as guided by the workshop leader and will be able to use them right away in their work with children and families, and for their own stress management. The neurological process that EMDR stimulates and how EMDR heals on both a physical and psychological level will be presented. Case examples of successful trauma treatments will be presented.

*EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.
